Banlieu 13 adalah suatu kawasan suburban di Paris yang terkenal penuh dengan kriminalitas dan agar dapat ditangani, didirikan dinding di sekelilingnya.
Seorang polisi, Damien, ditugaskan untuk 'masuk' dan 'menyamar' di sana, tetapi misi yang dijalaninya untuk mencari bom ternyata tidak seperti yang dipikirkan..

Dari segi pengembangan cerita memang tidak terlalu oke, tapi untuk action terutama adegan kejar-kejarannya (orang, bukan mobil lho) patut diacungi jempol.

When he destroys one million Euros in heroin of Taha Bemamud, the criminal abducts Leito's sister Lola and the corrupt police arrests Leito. Six months later, the tough and honest Capt. Damien Tomaso is assigned to find and deactivate a stolen bomb that might destroy the 13th District and the two million dwellers. Together with Leito, they have to face the gang of Taha and disclose a despicable secret behind the robbery of the bomb.

Saya tidak menyangka kalo si Marion Cotillard, yg main di film La Môme, sebegitu manisnya, terutama ketika ia berperan sebagai Sophie (untuk foto2 cek di sini).

Cap ou Pas Cap? Berani terima tantangan? Ya kira2 begitulah permainan antara Julien (Guillaume Canet) dan Sophie sejak kecil..hingga mereka dewasa. 'Challenge' yang dimainkan secara bergantian ini memang kocak, seperti Sophie disuruh pake pakaian dalamnya di luar dan menampar orang. Semakin lama tantangan itu semakin jauh dan akhirnya menyentuh sisi hati yang paling dalam mereka berdua. Tapi perjalanan cinta yang dilalui harus melewati periode yang lama, tahunan malah, hanya untuk memenuhi ego mereka agar tidak kalah dalam tantangan.. tapi cerita berakhir happy-ending kok.. or sad-ending ya?? tergantung perspektif anda yang menonton :p

Saya suka chemistry antara Cotillard dan Canet. They're both perfect! ;)
