Kisah penerbang "ace" Jerman Manfred von Richthofen dalam Perang Dunia pertama (1914-1918).
Agak menganggu dan membuat saya sangat kecewa, film ini disyuting dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris, maksudnya berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris / speaking English padahal aktor-aktornya orang Jerman semua, dan ini kan sejarah orang Jerman?? Saya tak mengerti mengapa harus dibikin seperti ini sehingga 'feel' ke-Jerman-annya tidak begitu terasa. Seribu sayang, I would not recommend this movie.

Note:
Baron Manfred von Richtofen (Matthias Schweighöfer) is the most feared and celebrated pilot of the German air force in World War I. To him and his companions, air combats are events of sporty nature, technical challenge and honorable acting, ignoring the terrible extent of war. But after falling love with the nurse Kate (Lena Headey), Manfred realize he is only used for propaganda means. Caught between his disgust for the war, and the responsibility for his fighter wing, von Richthofen sets out to fly again.
