Berlatar belakang Prancis dalam situasi Perang Dunia ke-2, Film ini mengisahkan sekelompok agen wanita yang diterjunkan ke Prancis untuk menyelamatkan seorang ilmuwan yang ditangkap Nazi Jerman.

Setelah sukses menjalankan misi, kelompok ini harus menuju ke Paris untuk menuntaskan tugas membunuh seorang perwira Jerman karena ditakutkan informasi mengenai pendaratan Sekutu di Normandy terbongkar. Di kota inilah kelompok ini bernasib na'as.

DVDB yang saya dapat teksnya enggak karuan, terpaksa hanya mengandalkan mata dan perasaan untuk memahami cerita :) terus judulnya juga dirubah menjadi "Mona Lisa Smile 2" (??)

Satu lagi film persembahan dari Dany Boon yang kocak. Dany Boon juga berperan sebagai Antoine Bailleul, orang lokal Ch'tis yang mana mempunyai aksen bahasa yang berbeda. Kelucuan yang timbul dari perbedaan aksen/bahasa menjadi menu utama dalam film ini. Saya baca juga bahwa Dany Boon mengupayakan agar proses alih bahasa dalam bahasa Inggris bisa memberikan nuansa lucu yang sama seperti halnya dalam bahasa aslinya.

Sangat menghibur, cuman sayang pesawat saya keburu mendarat sebelum film ini dituntaskan :(

Ok, akhirnya saya bisa nonton sampai selesai. Saya golongkan sebagai film komedi ringan. Phillippe sebagai pemeran utama hanya salah menilai kehidupan orang2 di daerah utara Prancis, padahal ia bisa menikmati hidup di sana sebagai manajer kantor pos setempat.

Rabbit Without Ears


Ludo (Til Schweiger) adalah seorang wartawan entertainment yang gemar dalam mencari berita sensasional dan 'gemar' bermain-main dengan wanita :) Karena suatu kesalahan yang dibuatnya, ia akhirnya dihukum dengan kerja sosial (community service) di tempat penitipan anak.

Suatu kebetulan, yang menjadi manajer di tempat tersebut adalah teman Ludo waktu kecil yang sering menjadi sasaran keusilan Ludo, Anna (Nora Tschirner). Walaupun awalnya bermusuhan, keduanya menjadi dekat dan Anna jatuh cinta kepada Ludo.

Ceritanya memang cenderung klise, tapi secara keseluruhan cukup menghibur. Ada beberapa adegan yang mengundang tawa & bukan 'slapstick'. Film ini juga disutradarai oleh Til Schweiger yang berperan sebagai Ludo. Btw, Nora Tschirner lumayan seksi juga :p

Dilatarbelakangi legenda la bête du Gévaudan atau Monster Gevaudan, film ini mencoba untuk memberikan 'jawaban' imajinatif bagi misteri mengenai Monster tersebut. Sebagai informasi, Monster Gevaudan menteror daerah selatan Prancis pada abad ke-18, terutama menyerang manusia dan memakannya (baca juga di Wikipedia).

Film berkisah mengenai kedatangan utusan Raja Prancis, Grégoire de Fronsac, yang ditemani seorang pembantu berdarah Indian Amerika, ke Gevaudan khusus untuk menangkap Monster. Dalam usahanya menangkap dan mengungkapkan misteri Monster ini, Fronsac menemukan adanya keterlibatan tokoh-tokoh di jajaran elit Gevaudan, yang akan mengkait-kaitnya keberadaan Monster ini dengan sebagai hukuman Tuhan kepada Raja Prancis. Jadilah legenda dan misteri Monster Gevaudan dicampuri intrik politik dan agama :)

Film thriller yang keren.. Georges dikirimi sebuah kaset yang berisikan rekaman gambar situasi depan rumahnya, sehingga terlihat disitu saat Georges dan istrinya keluar rumah. Khawatir akan keselamatan keluarganya, Georges mencoba mencari tahu siapa yang mengirim dan apa motifnya. Disusul kemudian datang kaset yang berisi rekaman gambar rumah orangtuanya.

Dari petunjuk yang ada di dalam rekaman, Georges akhirnya dapat menarik kesimpulan bahwa hal ini berhubungan dengan masa lalunya di waktu kecil.

Constance 'Connie' Chatterley, tokoh utama dalam film ini adalah seorang Lady yang bersuamikan bangsawan yang menderita cacat setelah ikut berperang dalam Perang Dunia. Dari keseharian yang rutin untuk mengurus sang suami, Connie menderita kelelahan dan disarankan oleh Dokter untuk mencoba hal-hal yang baru. Pekerjaan mengurus suami pun akhirnya diserahkan kepada seorang perawat.

Dalam mengisi masa senggang, Connie bertemu dengan Parkin, si 'gamekeeper' (apa bahasa Indonesianya yah? Menurut Merriam-Webster: a person in charge of the breeding and protection of game animals or birds on a private preserve) yang bekerja untuk keluarga Chatterley. Dari Parkin, Connie menemukan 'kehangatan' yang tidak ia dapat dari sang suami.
