Setting kerusuhan mahasiswa di Paris tahun 1968, Matthew seorang mahasiswa asal Amerika yang mengambil jurusan Film, tinggal bersama dua kakak beradik, Theo (Louis Garrell) dan Isabelle (Eva Green). Mereka sama2 penggemar film, dan setiap hari mengisi waktu dengan main tebak2an film. Hukuman bagi yang salah menebak semakin ekstrim, lebih ke arah eksplorasi seksuil (??).

Karena setting-nya udah jadul, referensi film yang dijadikan tebak2an makin jadul lagi..so, bukan generasi kita utk memahami.

The tumultuous political landscape of Paris in 1968 serves as the backdrop for a tale about three young cineastes who are drawn together through their passion for film.
